Job Overview – Amerex Group is a family owned midtown Manhattan Apparel Company seeking an Office Cleaner to assist with cleaning our office. The Office Cleaner is responsible for ensuring all areas of the office are clean, appropriately stocked and organized. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable.)

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure surfaces, floors and bathrooms are clean on a daily basis.
  • Restock bathrooms, refrigerators and supply closet as needed.
  • Clean showroom tables after meetings/lunches.
  • Clean spills and other messes up as quickly as possible.
  • Requesting new cleaning supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Friendly and professional.
  • Reliable.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Time management skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
