Del Amo Motorsports Group is looking to hire a PDI Technician at our Chula Vista location.

This is a full-time position with a pay range between $16.00 to $18.00 an hour. Pay range is determined depending on individual’s skillsets and experience.


Dealership hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am-7pm; Sunday & Monday we’re gone riding.


Schedule is Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday’s and Monday’s off.

  • PDI work shifts vary 9am-6:00pm, 9:30am-6:30pm and 10am-7:00pm – Closing Shift


You are a great fit if you can:


  • Assemble and PDI new units (Motorcycle, ATV, UTV, and Watercraft).
  • Perform simple maintenance (oil changes, tire changes, etc.).
  • Responsible for new and used units, starting from receiving process before sold to customer walk around when the unit leaves the dealership as outlined in the PDI training procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform or support tooling design and fabrication, in-process, and final inspection/production.
  • Uphold a strong relationship with all customers, employees, and management.
  • Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.


Other Requirements and Skills:


  • Solid technical and/or mechanical skills.
  • Familiarity of product lines sold in dealership.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Technical and/or mechanical abilities – including writing and reading technical documentation.
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols in the dealership.
  • Ownership of tools.
  • Own M1 license preferred.
