Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant job at Oakton Medical Assoc in Hanover Park, IL 60133

Job Description

Phlebotomy lab activities: Obtaining blood specimens by performing venipunctures, ordering tests, packaging and accurately labeling specimens

Prepare rooms for the day and after each visit
Prepare patients for examinations
Measure and record accurately height, weight and vitals (BP, HR, RR, PFR, SPO2) in EHR
Prepare chart/medical record ensuring completion of documents and information prior to provider
Perform in office lab testing
Blood drawing/phlebotomy venous and capillary,
Assist providers with sick or well visits.
Assist with referrals and coordination of care
Know basic front desk functions Clerical duties as requested

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift
Evening shift
Holidays
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

Hanover Park, IL 60133: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Preferred)
