A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Fei lab at Rutgers University-New Brunswick to work in Eukaryotic gene regulation and chromatin biology.
The lab currently focuses on the roles of transcription factors and nucleosomes in gene expression and other signaling pathways. Our approaches include mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry, and next-generation sequencing genomics techniques with human iPSC cells. We also conduct large-scale CRISPR-Cas9 knockout screening to identify novel players in gene regulations.

Candidate Qualifications:
Potential candidates should hold (or are about to obtain) a Ph.D., or within three years after degree experience, with expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, or biochemistry. Experience in epigenomic assays (e.g., ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, Cut&Run, etc.) will be viewed favorably. Training opportunities for analyzing such genome-wide data sets are available.
