Overview

Our People & Places Principal Technology Partner will play a critical team member role in designing our global HR systems. You must be someone who can operate as a designer, both business process and technical requirements, and a product manager to ensure implemented solutions deliver awesome experiences. In this demanding,hands-on and fast-paced role, you will identify business requirements that enable great experiences, system enhancements that are scalable and sustainable long-term, and work closely with stakeholders and technology partners to ensure successful delivery of working products. You will be responsible for contributing to large cross-functional initiatives and implementations that enable us to create amazing experiences for our most important asset – our people - to help us achieve our mission of ‘Maximizing the Potential of our Employees’ and accelerate Intuit's business growth.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience with HR technology solutions specifically with Workday, ADP and employee experience portals
  • Experience utilizing SaaS-based HRIS products, with a general familiarity of the HR technology landscape and the future releases of these products
  • Solid understanding of HR and IT business processes and how they impact HR systems
  • A passion for developing solutions that deliver outstanding experiences
  • Ability to articulate clear messages to team members, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Skilled at managing various internal and external stakeholders during complex implementation initiatives.
  • Experience in contributing to concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Agile and able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Possess an orientation for results and excellence, demonstrating conceptual and analytical thinking, initiative and flexibility
  • Responsible for managing project timelines and task assignments to ensure successful completion of the project within scope and on schedule.
  • Analyze end-user experiences and needs, business processes, and thoroughly document functional requirements to be used for system development and testing.

How you will lead

You will be responsible for contributing to large cross-functional initiatives and implementations that enable us to create amazing experiences for our most important asset – our people - to help us achieve our mission of ‘Maximizing the Potential of our Employees’ and accelerate Intuit's business growth.

  • Partner with COE and technology teams to build strong HR technology solutions (HCM, Compensation, Payroll ,Digital Experiences)
  • Drive change across Directors, VPs, in addition to, other levels within a business unit or multiple organizations
  • Lead highly complex initiatives with accountability/ responsibility that transcends multiple teams and projects across HR and IT organizations
  • Interface with key partners and vendors, ensuring they understand project deliverables, meet timing and cost deadlines, and collaborate with internal project stakeholders while augmenting internal team resources
  • Define a technology vision and roadmap for specific initiatives and HR domains through strategic partnerships, influence, and both internal/external best-practices
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) which includes writing, maintaining, and executing UAT scripts including regression testing the new functionality before deployment
  • Responsible for writing user stories and traceability of business requirements to technical solution designs, test cases, test evidence approval
  • Proficient in generating reports and data analysis to assist with decision-making and planning.
  • Adept at creating Documentation artifacts such as User Guides, Process Flow Charts, Project Plans, Test Plans and other slide decks for presenting to leadership
  • Build durable strategies by capitalizing on domain expertise and tapping into extensive internal and external best practices
  • Proactively identify opportunities to further leverage best-in-class technology and minimize technology debt that hinders long-term scalability
  • Work to drive and implement best practices across all platforms, digital innovation, process automation, and emerging technologies that fit business requirements
  • Ensure clear communication of project scopes, timing, and progress on an ongoing basis
  • Be bold about the customer problem to solve, driving deep empathy and data-driven decision, with continuous experimentation to deliver for the customer
