Manager - Process Manager, ACH

As a Manager of Process Management on the Enterprise Payments Product Automated Clearing House (ACH) Team, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for creating and enhancing processes that deliver excellence in payments. You will serve as the subject matter expert for Enterprise Payments ACH Modernization program needs and provide product owner support for our legacy ACH application. This role is also involved in furthering relationships with partners by way of process improvements, automation, providing ACH subject matter expertise, and facilitating new initiatives and projects through post-implementation.

We are seeking dedicated, disciplined professionals who excel in a team environment and are experts in the ACH payments process and systems. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution.

General Responsibilities:

  • Providing ACH subject matter expertise

  • Defining and owning the product backlog for a development team

  • Ensuring all necessary processes and procedures are followed to manage risk from system changes

  • Interfacing with 3rd party vendors and contractors, where required, to deliver necessary pieces of our Tech product with time-to-market excellence

  • Defining & measuring product OKRs and success metrics

  • Analyzing, identifying, and correcting data issues with systems used or owned by a department

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in Process or Project or Relationship Management

  • At least 3 years experience with Paperless Entry Processing (PEP+) system

  • At least 3 years experience with electronic payments

  • At least 3 years experience with National Automated Clearinghouse Association (NACHA) rules


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Process or Project or Relationship Management

  • AAP Certification

  • Expert understanding of PEP+ system

  • Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development process

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Location is New York City: $128,300 - $146,400 for Manager, Process Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
