Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, data-savvy team member to join the Jobs Fundamentals product in HR. You will work closely with our engineering, design, and workforce data team members to identify areas of opportunity to lead faster, more sustainable progress against our firmwide job structure goals. You will become a firmwide expert in our jobs data model and the way in which jobs data connects and powers key employee experiences like talent development, skills-based learning, hiring, career growth, mobility, promotions, and pay transparency.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates on a product team consisting of engineers, data architects, and systems configurators to conduct product discovery and investigate opportunities to streamline and innovate on our jobs data model
  • Partners with other HR product teams (e.g., Career, Learn, Compensation) in service of delivering dynamic, connected career, learning, talent, and mobility experiences
  • Develops and implements methods to automate currently manual job data cleanup, job harmonization, and net new job architecture implementations
  • Oversees development of consumable artifacts (e.g., teaching materials) that educate both HR and firm leaders on job architecture in order to enable more self-service updates to common job architecture design issues
  • Identifies data automation capabilities and applies them to enable businesses to adjust job descriptions, skills aligned to jobs, and/or job architectures more rapidly as business needs evolve over time
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for HR Advisors and fellow HR product managers on firmwide job design principles (e.g., function, family, level, role, title)
  • Champions the firm's values of equity, diversity, and inclusion

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in a quantitatively-based discipline within Human Resources (e.g., compensation, workforce planning, data analytics, job design, HR information systems) or 3-5+ years at a top management consulting firm with a focus on human capital, workforce transformation, product management, or business transformation (or equivalent in industry)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with internal clients and colleagues
  • Intellectually curious and willing learn systems and data models in order to deliver value and solve issues with job architecture or connected experiences
  • Strong prioritization and execution skills; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities
  • Hands-on, practical experience in:
    • Advanced capabilities in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, INDEX MATCH, advanced conditional formatting)
    • Data literacy and analysis skills (e.g., SQL, Alteryx)

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
  • Experience with HR information system process design or configuration (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM)
  • Domain knowledge in Human Resources, particularly job architecture, job design, skills strategy, workforce planning and/or competency modelling
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Ability to articulate complex issues in easy to understand ways
  • Pragmatic problem-solving across multiple types of issues in project work
  • Willingness to learn new areas of focus - especially support functions
  • Comfort with ambiguity and creating structure
