Oversees and coordinates activities between IT teams and business owners related to divisionwide technology product lines; serves as the expert for assigned products; serves as a liaison between technology staff and organization representatives to prioritize the backlog and streamline the execution of program priorities; recommends product line improvements; works with cross-functional delivery teams and project managers to deliver delightful customer experience; responsible for ensuring the Division receives its return on investment for assigned products.

Required

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in information systems, business management, education, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of progressive work experience in a technology environment, some of which shall have been in supporting large complex project/product implementations working directly with business owners to identify and prioritize their needs.
• Knowledge of best practices with respect to customer service and customer-oriented account management.
• Knowledge of business and information technology practices and trends by comparable school systems or businesses.
• Knowledge and understanding of technology-related issues and how they might impact assigned customers.
• Knowledge of job-related policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as the fundamental concepts, regulations, and practices of the field.
• Knowledge of appropriate local, state, and federal laws and regulations dealing with technology.
• Skilled in implementing large scale technology solutions, working with multidisciplinary teams, and functioning as a team leader.
• Ability to apply experienced level of technical knowledge and skills in the product categories.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Preferred

• Experience as a product owner or solution lead.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Agile Certified Product Owner (CPO), Certified Agile Project Manager PMI-ACP, or related certification.
