The Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems Division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Production Scheduler to join the Integrated Planning & Scheduling group to support Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) located in Huntsville, AL.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Production Schedulers.

Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2:

  • Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.

  • Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.

  • Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance. Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.

  • Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.

  • Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities - Mid-Level 3:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience building integrated master plans

  • Experience in managing complex integrated schedules or projects

  • Experience using integrated scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.

  • Experience utilizing scheduling systems and tools to create and maintain production schedules

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience building integrated master plans

  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing complex projects

  • 3+ years of experience using integrated scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience in managing complex integrated schedules or projects

  • 3+ experience utilizing scheduling systems and tools to create and maintain production schedules

  • Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)

  • 1+ years’ Navigating BRAIDSS (Recurring and Independent Demand Schedule System)

  • Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Mid-Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate Level 2: Typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level 3: Typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for Associate Level 2: $68,850 - $93,150

Summary pay range for Mid-Level 3: $87,550 - $118,450
