Overview

The Worker Safety and Health Division promotes a safe working environment for and "safety aware" attitude in all PNNL employees, visitors, vendors, and subcontractors. We are also concerned with the safety, health, and welfare of our local communities and other members of the public who are impacted by PNNL operations. Our goal is to partner with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that are risk-based and cost efficient. Responsibilities

Assists in daily coordination of project(s) including preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements. Tracks corrective action plan progress and identifies/resolves obstacles. Communicates to internal and external clients. Supports WSH in maintaining performance assurance requirements, work breakdown structures, and monitoring scheduling integrity. Has knowledge of a wide-range of PNNL business systems. May perform some administrative tasks such and arranging meetings, developing agendas and preparing progress reports.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS/BA or higher -OR-
  • AA and 10 years of relevant experience -OR-
  • HS/GED and 12 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and effectively work in hybrid work teams (mixture of staff members working onsite and remote).
  • Familiar with performance assurance and measurement.
  • Strong software utilization skills including Microsoft Office 365 Power Platform tools (PowerApps, SharePoint, Power BI, and PowerAutomate), Microsoft Project and Access.
  • Strong ability to organize large amount of information and summarize for project portfolio reporting using multiple software tools.
