What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with design and engineering organizations for new service implementations, change management and project management
  • Coordinate and supervise material receiving, documentation, storage, inventory control, disbursement and off-site shipping activities
  • Work with leadership on ways to improve & sustain processes
  • Collaborate with management team to quote and negotiate profitable contracts, resolve disputes and maintain general oversight of projects
  • Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications, prices and obtaining recommendations from suppliers
  • Maintain files and records of shipping and receiving documents for domestic and international transactions
  • Operate a forklift and drive company vehicles to pick up parts and supplies from vendors
  • Presentation/Report on an improvement project at the end of internship

What You'll Need

  • Currently pursing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or similar field
  • Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated, and self-starter
  • Work in varying temperature and weather conditions
  • Understanding of Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes

  • Experience with MRO system, SAP system preferred

Your Education

  • Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering or Operations Management program. (Junior/Senior level preferred).
