We are looking for a part-time Caretaker / Housekeeper to join our team. Our Ideal Caretaker / Housekeeper will:
  • Keep vacation homes clean & tidy.
  • Follow a detailed cleaning checklist.
  • Sweep, mop, & vacuum floors.
  • Dust baseboards, furniture, & light fixtures.
  • Wash & dry dishes.
  • Take out the trash.
  • Scrub toilets & bathtubs.
  • Clean windows.
  • Wipe & clean appliances and cabinets.
  • Tidy decks, porches, etc.
  • Run errands and pick up supplies as needed.
  • Perform small maintenance tasks. (preferred but not required)
  • Pass housekeeping inspection after each task.
  • Report to the manager after task completion.
  • Inspect the house for damage & repairs.
  • Stage home to be welcoming and WOW! for guest arrival.

Our Ideal Caretaker / Housekeeper:
  • Experienced: 1+ years of housekeeping or janitorial experience.
  • Previous vacation rental cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to work some weekends is required.
  • Flexible: Standard cleaning hours are from 10 am to 4 pm, but being semi-flexible is important since schedules are subject to guest check-ins & checkouts.
  • Active: Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, hand mop, and be on your feet for most of your shift.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the house(s) to be cleaned.
  • Quality Focused: Meticulous about cleanliness & creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
  • Works Independently: Able to self-manage, working with a team and alone.
  • Sound Character: Someone who is dependable, trustworthy & hardworking.
  • Team Player: Communicates well with teammates in English. Humble enough to receive feedback & driven to provide excellent experiences for guests.
  • Passionate: Loves to provide the unexpected WOW! service and understand your work's purpose and value in creating outstanding guest experiences.
  • Committed: We are looking for a caretaker who will emotionally invest in the property and be our eyes and ears on the ground. A person who cares for nothing but the paycheck is not the right candidate.

What We Offer Our Housekeeper:
  • $20+/hour depending on skill level.
  • Part-time job to supplement your current income.
  • A fun opportunity to clean a great property. Plus take care of grounds and small maintenance if you wish. This is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Semi-Flexible schedule & hours, typically between 10 am and 4 pm.
