Job Description

We are currently hiring a Purchasing Specialist in Breinigsville, Pa .

The Purchasing Specialist will work with the Storeroom team and other cross-functional business partners to secure goods and services while managing ongoing supplier relationships. This role contributes to Boston Beer’s success by defining and implementing sourcing strategies while building solid relationships with internal business partners and external suppliers.

What You'll Brew :

  • Identifying potential domestic and overseas suppliers, Support the competitive bid process.
  • Work with internal business partners and suppliers to draft contracts, including Statements of Work Orders and schedules to meet business deliverables, Resolves quality or delivery disputes with suppliers.
  • Ensures seamless delivery of goods or services to Boston Beer and Ensures that the final product or service meets business partner requirements.
  • Supports purchasing function including gathering documents and performing research as necessary, Collect legal documentation from suppliers, review for accuracy, and distribute it to appropriate business partners., Manages invoice discrepancies, Validate supplier compliance with BBC terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier set-up and performs ongoing maintenance per documented process.
  • Create Purchase Orders (P.O.’s) and Blanket Purchase Agreements, Contact for suppliers relating to purchase orders, invoices, and logistics issues.
  • Assist in building training materials for procurement processes and systems.
  • Identify resource optimization opportunities as a part of ongoing baseline exercises.
  • Communicates and clarifies with suppliers regarding BBC’s expectations on standards for shipping products., Tracks and manages changes to purchase and sales orders and communicates to impacted business departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless operations.

What Ingredients You’ll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+years Supply Chain Management or Procurement Experience
  • Strong organizational and M.S. Office skills (Excel proficiency) required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience is a plus.
