Pyrotechnicians are responsible for the set up and firing of pyrotechnic shows and effects in a variety of venues. Pyrotechnicians work directly with Entertainment division teams to generate appropriate fixtures, programs, and procedures to support shows.

Basic Qualifications :

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid California Driver’s License
• Basic electrical knowledge and mathematical skills
• Ability to use common hand tools and handheld power tools, air powered tools, and air hoses
• Ability to use common pyrotechnic firing systems, including, but not limited to, pyro digital systems
• Ability to connect modules, firing strips, and usage of cables
• Flexible availability
• Ability to interface with other crafts, such as electricians and sound mechanics. Reliability (by reporting to assignments on-time and prepared for work)
• Cooperation with fellow Cast Members, within and outside the maintenance Line of Business, including engineers and operations personnel
• Comfortable working in outdoor conditions with heat, cold, and all types of weather
• Part Time requires full availability for any shift (including nights) during our peak times of the year and year-round availability for holidays and weekends

Additional Information :
The pay rate for this role in California is $29.50 per hour.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Must have flexible availability to work Sunday through Saturday, all shifts (i.e. 1st, 2nd, and 3 rd shift) including holidays.
