The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, professional, a strong team player and has excellent attention to detail. Legal experience preferred but not required. *An automobile is a requirement for the daily mail drop off.

RECORDS CLERK/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
RECORDS MANAGEMENT:
Overseeing scanning, storing, arranging, indexing and classifying of paper and digital records, including data entry, from creation to destruction.
Implementing retention and disposal schedules.
Maintaining document records systems.
Assisting in the ongoing transition from paper to electronic records management systems.
Answering queries by searching and retrieving files and databases.
Maintaining organized central filing room.
Sorting, scanning, and filing of incoming client paper mail and hard copy documents when necessary.
Archiving files and overseeing offsite file storage including but not limited to: maintaining current database of all records stored, updating whenever necessary, and updating procedures and forms when necessary.
Maintaining print law library.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:
Providing assistance to attorneys and paralegals with photocopying, scanning, binder creation, and various other clerical tasks as needed.
Aid accounting including editing attorney time entries, folding and mailing bills, scanning checks, entering credit card charges, and filing.
Delivering mail and packages to USPS, FedEx, and UPS on a daily basis
ONLINE PRESENCE:
Keep pages, profiles and information up to date. Post attorney’s blog entries. Update King County Lawyers Directory via Daily Journal of Commerce. Provide suggestions for editing the SFF Facebook and LinkedIn profiles.
BACKUP RECEPTIONIST:
Providing daily reception coverage for breaks and lunch hour.
