Boeing is looking for a Supply Chain First Line Leader (Level K) for our Commercial Derivative Repair Execution team. The supply chain first line leader will be responsible for managing the team of repair order managers of government derivative aircraft repairs. This includes working with the Supply Chain functional team members to forecast demand, induct repairs, ship to repair vendors, oversee repairs through the repair cycle at supplier sites, and returning the serviceable parts to the customers. The Repair ecosystem requires detailed record keeping by the Repair Managers which necessitates clear expectations regarding WIP management from the manager of the team. This role requires oversight of high level customer expectations and commitments being made in support of both PBL and transactional repair performance. The right person for this position should be able to communicate high level performance to Program leaders and customers, while also managing the detailed WIP performance of Repair Management team members in Dallas, TX.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas, TX

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing supply chain repair execution activities

  • Acquires and assigns resources to projects / tasks / contracts / programs as required

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Track and report team’s key performance indicators

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Experience in Supply Chain

  • Self-starter with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

  • Leadership experience

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

  • Familiarity with SCOR model

  • Experience in order execution or supply chain planning role

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 119,000 – 161,000.
