Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Advising customers on suitable products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions.
• Keeping abreast of new products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
• Processing customers' payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensuring that the store is clean, disinfected and well-organized at all times.
• Educating customers on the safe use of their selected products.
• Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
• Taking inventory of products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience working in retail or customer service
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• 21 years of age or older
• Must able to work a flexible schedule (Day, Nights and/or Weekends)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

COVID-19 considerations:
Common surfaces are sanitized regularly.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Washington, DC 20002: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
