This is a new position supporting patient estimates within operations. The candidate will report directly to the Director. They will work closely and collaboratively with Estimating Manager, Supervisor, Systems Analysts, and a variety of other colleagues to improve the accuracy of estimates and identify trends. This is a dedicated analyst role for estimation team with focus on elevating accuracy, quality assurance, and productivity. The incumbent will establish reporting and help identify continuous improvement opportunities analytics for the team. This role will involve a lot of digging, development of expertise, and detail-oriented work. An understanding of charge capture, provider-based billing, modifiers, and Epic will be necessary. A passion for improving patient financial experience through estimation and price transparency and drilling in to identify our opportunities is a requirement for success in the role.
Bachelor’s Degree required in economics, mathematics, business administration, accounting, finance, healthcare business related fields or statistics and 6 years of relevant experience;
OR
High School degree and 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or healthcare business related field with 4 years relevant experience preferred.
Has a highly developed understanding of coding, billing and compliance practices. Has advanced knowledge of large revenue recognition systems and practice billing systems. Advanced investigational skills, shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work independently. Possess initiative, analytical skills, and an ability to operate with a high level of productivity. Demonstrates advanced communication and presentation skills. Ability to work in a team environment and develop constructive working relationships with others. Able to lead others through difficult situations. Coding/Compliance Certification preferred
