General Summary Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting with activities associated with the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting of the Company. The position reports to the Assistant Controller and collaborates with various members of the accounting team to complete assigned tasks. This position requires familiarity of GAAP, extensive knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience using accounting financial applications.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares daily remote deposits to the bank
• Completes payment application of daily deposits within accounts receivable
• Supports daily cash forecasting through data input of bank activity
• Responsible for fixed asset accounting, including maintence of additions/disposals within AssetKeeper and calculation of monthly depreciation
• Maintains schedules of equipment rentals and performs true-up allocations to jobs
• Prepares entries for month-end close, including prepaids and standard accruals
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts monthly
• Assists the Assistant Controller with special projects as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
