Job Title: Senior Communicator

Status: Full-Time

FLSA: Exempt

Hiring Range: $50,000.00 - $66,000.00/yr. (The anticipated starting salary pay range of $50,000.00 - $66,000.00/yr. is based on minimum requirements for this position. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least 7 years of experience. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant's education, training, and experience.)

RSI EnTech, LLC is recruiting for a Senior Communicator who will be responsible for being a liaison between the Education, Communication, History, and Outreach (ECHO) and the Safety & Health teams to streamline Safety & Health communications.

This position is required to travel at least 5% of the time.

Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
  • Responsible as the primary internal communications professional for creating and coordinating communications material and products, primarily related to Safety & Health.
  • Provide strategic communications expertise and support that advance programs and goals.
  • Supporting the creation, approval process, and distribution of Employee News regarding monthly safety meeting presentations for LM's federal and contractor workforce.
  • Creating and implementing internal communications plans, activities, and programs.
  • Developing, creating, and distributing weekly/monthly internal communication messages for LM's Safety & Health team.
  • Providing support to the Internal Communications team for employee engagement campaigns, programs, and activities, including Volunteer Protection Program, town hall meetings, seasonal campaigns, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience in project management, writing, editing, and print and digital media products.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and editing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation, interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
Technical knowledge, certifications/licenses, and software proficiency required:

  • Proficient in Google Analytics and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with AP style.
  • Understanding of social media platforms.
  • Valid driver's license.
Desirable qualifications, experience, or proficiencies of the ideal candidate:

  • Experience working as a contractor for the U.S. government.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. Department of Energy.
  • Experience with Adobe software
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Media, Marketing, or related field with a minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
