The Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide administrative support for the Chairman. In addition, this position will assist with the functions of the graduate program within a department and involves multi-tasking and strong communication skills. It often requires organizing new initiatives and projects for the Chair and department administration.

Performs patient registration functions in EPIC registration system, including patient demographic updates, insurance validation and eligibility checks, and
Minimum of 3-5 years medical office experience. Current knowledge of payer requirements for referrals and preauthorization.
Salary Grade, if non-union: School-Based Administrator - Assistant Principal. Non-Union or Specific Collective Bargaining Agreement:
Hours:* 2nd shift, 11am-730 pm or 2pm-1030pm, M-F (includes weekend overtime). Compensation:* $24-$28/hr, depending on experience.
