Air Dominance Manufacturing & Safety team has an exciting opportunity to fulfill a key position in the organization as a Senior Executive Assistant. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing and Safety and be responsible for the development and management of the overall management system and organization initiatives in Air Dominance Manufacturing & Safety as a critical enabler of the business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading and coordinating staff actions with the program managers and/or functional leaders.
  • Supports Air Dominance Manufacturing & Safety LT on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Ensures objectives are met by scheduling, de-conflicting, and prioritizing key tasks and proactively communicating leadership direction, guidance, and expectations for internal and external audiences.
  • Works with VP to define and execute team operating rhythm, and prepare for key meetings and visits with senior customers and stakeholders.
  • Coordinates LT staff meetings and participation in Air Dominance leadership meetings.
  • Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational focus and priorities, identifies and recommends optimization opportunities, and assists in their implementation.
  • Coordinates the design, logistics, and facilitation of Air Dominance Manufacturing & Safety in meetings/events; develops and consolidates executive-level briefings.
  • Monitors and tracks project execution of Air Dominance Manufacturing & Safety-related plans and communicates status.
  • Forges relationships with counterparts across BDS and other Boeing Business Units to remove obstacles and solve problems
  • Strong time management, collaboration, decision-making, and leadership strengths in written and verbal communications
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office Products - Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Travel, on an as-needed basis, in support of, or with leadership
  • Completing special projects and ad hoc tasks, as assigned

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Program Management, Project Management, and/or Business Operations experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams
  • 5 + years of experience demonstrating strong time management, collaboration, decision-making, and leadership strengths in written and verbal communications
  • 5 + years of experience delivering on prioritized commitments and partnering closely to ensure consistent attention to detail with rigorous follow through
  • 3 + years of experience working with executive leadership

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel Requirement:

May require to travel 15% of the time.
