Senior Front End Developer - Salary plus Bonus!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Frontend Developer will be responsible for building software solutions that drive product growth through engineering excellence. You will collaborate with an agile team of developers, designers, and business analysts to implement software functionality and deliver business values into production web applications.

In the first three weeks you will:

  • On-board with product and QA teams to learn how to use the product.
  • Become familiar with the code repository and the delivery pipeline.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies.
  • Submit and merge pull requests.
  • Ship code to production!

In the first six months you will:

  • Understand the bounded contexts and purpose of each product domain.
  • Contribute to peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
  • Contribute to break down stories into tasks and describing implementation plans.
  • Contribute process improvements during retrospectives.

In the first year you will:

  • Make architectural improvements to our front-end web applications.
  • Provide insightful perspective to product feature discussions.
  • Help keep our software using the latest tools and techniques.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Abilities and Skills:

Position Responsibilities:

· Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.

· Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable architecture.

· Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

· Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation.

· Complete project assignments in a timely manner.

Experience:

· Working with agile methodologies with a distributed team.

· Deep understanding of a modern JavaScript Framework (Angular, React, Vue).

· Solid foundation creating responsive web experiences.

· Experience with Reactive State architectures and modern libraries such as Redux.

· General understanding of multiple programming paradigms including Functional JavaScript.

· Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision.

· Expert at designing, coding, and implementing with stability, performance, scalability requirements in mind.

Other Requirements:

· Valid Driver’s License

· Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening

Other Physical Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and customers; manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, and operating office equipment.
