Job Description

As a member of the Industrial Power Control, Integrated Solutions Discrete Business Line you will join our gate driver marketing team with worldwide responsibility for marketing an established product line, identifying new product development opportunities, go-to-market ownership of new products, and increasing revenue generation from our existing portfolio of products.
In your new role you will:
  • Develop specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s)and product families to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
  • Develop business plans (business case) and product positioning in the market place
  • Develop, maintain, and expand key and strategic customer relationships (involves international and Domestic travel)
  • Monitor competitive activity and identifies customer needs
  • Establish pricing strategies for new product(s) and new product families
  • Responsible for increasing revenue for the entire portfolio (not just for existing products)
  • Work with technical marketing, application engineering, design engineering, finance, project management, manufacturing, and sales team-members to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s)
  • Provide go-to-market launch, work with Marketing -Communications and demand creation and for responsible products and product families
  • Provide trend knowledge, and have ownership of customers, application, components, technology, & provide knowledge of competition
  • Find new market segments for the responsible products
  • Provide market research and business intelligence (work together with the internal BID team)
  • Develop product portfolio strategy & management, track opportunities and provide financial forecasts
  • Resolve issues by working together with FAE, R&D, quality, and other departments as needed
  • Collaborate with related business-line segments in other divisions
  • Provide training to sales, distributors, and customers
  • Provide customer support for responsible products

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, MBA is a plus.
  • 15 years in semi-conductor and or power management field
  • Extensive knowledge of g ate drivers and gate driver techniques
  • Extent of technical knowledge in other areas including: General power management solutions, general motor control concepts, and functional knowledge of power switches (IGBT, MOSFETs, and SiC)
  • Knowledge of internal interdependencies (organization, work flow, customers, suppliers)
  • High level of knowledge required for both internal organizational interdependencies and external business interdependencies between customers, channels, suppliers, etc.
  • High level of knowledge required for competitors and competitive solutions , market conditions in the industrial market space
  • Have an effective knowledge of mass-market strategies , leveraging catalogue distributors, and standard distributors
  • Must have strong experience with go-to-market strategies, maintain a medium level of involvement with professional organizations to keep track of industry trends, and a high level of involvement with standardization bodies
  • Demonstrate a high level of leadership by promoting values that drive behaviors that create a culture of collaboration, teamwork, transparency and a passion for success
  • Have the ability to provide mentorship to others
  • Demonstrate technical leadership in training, and technical development of teams.
  • Must be able to share customer’s solutions and technologies clearly to the internal team
  • Must be able to understand technologies used in own products and competitive solutions
  • Must have ability to do critical-path thinking and ability to understand risks and pros and cons of project decision from the marketing point of view
  • Must be willing to take business risks
  • Must be able to analyses business cases based sometimes conflicting information from different sources
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and provide solutions; many of the problems faced in this role will not have clear-cut solutions
  • Must be able to identify and obtain relevant data, and make decisions on best available information (even without a full set of data)
  • Must be able to take the lead in solving customer related technical issues by working together with FAE, R&D, quality, and other departments as needed
  • Must be able to analyses business cases based sometimes conflicting information from different sources
  • Must be willing to take several inputs and advise and take some risks for innovative win-win solutions
  • Help manage the team resources by prioritization of projects by marketing and customer needs
  • Must be willing to travel globally up to 30% of the time

Wage Range that the Company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $147,000.00 salary per year
Maximum of $202,200.00 salary per year

In addition, all full-time employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
