An exciting Program Manager opportunity has just arisen with an American company leading vertically integrated provider of end-to-end satellite solutions. We combine satellite design, production, launch planning, mission operations, and in-orbit support to meet the needs of the most demanding military, civil, and commercial customers. In addition, we are developing the world’s largest, most advanced NextGen Earth Observation constellation to provide persistent, real-time earth imagery.
The role:
As a Program Manager, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to manage the execution of customer contracts, be accountable for delivering highly reliable space systems to Government and Commercial customers, own the customer relationship, organize internal engineering, manage external suppliers and manufacturing and test activities. The end goal of every Program Manager is to deliver affordable, high-performance space systems at an escalated pace.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical area
· Over 5 years of experience as a Program Manager delivering spacecraft programs
· Demonstrated reputation in leading/delivering high-complex spacecraft or military/defense programs
· Proven ability to deliver on time and on-budget
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
· Ability to define and utilize metrics, develop program schedules, and control budgets to manage program activities
· Ability to communicate across organizational boundaries and levels
· Demonstrated employee management experience and proficiency in task management
· Ability to help organize and manage a team of personnel, develop program schedules, and control budgets to meet required deadlines
· Meticulous attention to detail
· You must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US TS/SCI Security Clearance and all special accesses required to work/access some facilities
