FLSA STATUS: Exempt

WORK SCHEDULE: M-F, hybrid work schedule. 3 days in office.

LOCATION: Hartford, CT or Boise, ID preferred

JOB SUMMARY:

Covr is hiring a senior project manager to lead the design and delivery of some of our largest projects and accelerate our go-to market strategies. The role will be responsible for managing projects on an end to end basis, as well as facilitating other projects. The role will report to the CTO and have direct access to the CEO and others on the senior management team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead product design sessions, working closely with business owners and development leaders to plan and organize requirements.
  • Lead large scale enterprise projects by managing end to end development and delivery of the project for selected large impact projects. These projects could be external with key partners (eg. Citibank) or internal (eg. Salesforce rollout)
  • Coordinate directly with external partners to launch new products and technologies
  • Manage PMO tools like budget planning tool, project plan tool (ie. Excel and Monday) and resource planning tool (excel based)
  • Partner with CFO to price and track results of partnership engagements
  • Position will have growth potential to be promoted to head of the PMO within 12-24 months.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree desirable
  • 3+ years experience in project management or initiative leadership in the life insurance, InsurTech or financial services industries
  • Knowledge of insurance distribution models; including broker-dealer, bank, financial advisor, DTC or agent distribution.
  • Familiarity with scrum and agile methodology
  • Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders to drive enterprise strategy and consensus, and lead tactical execution
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate complex issues and ideas succinctly and with clarity
