Primary Function:
Work as a senior member of the digital team to design, architect and develop new solutions for Viking Pump’s business’ digital goals. Lead communication and technical oversite of projects with other developers and report project deliverables through Digital Strategy Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, architect, develop, test, and maintain Viking Pump digital assets (websites, portals, tools, apps).

Guide and direct technical solutions and support for SAP Hybris and SAP Commerce Cloud applications.
-
Communicate solution architecture plans and reviews with project teams prior to design and development to ensure solution is compatible and scalable within established systems.
-
Lead and implement coding best practice and maintenance standard and work closely with corporate deployment team for code review and scheduling.
-
Work with 3rd party and internal stakeholders on project business cases and UI/UX designs project inceptions and wireframing.

Implement data gathering tools and customizations for analytic and performance reporting.

Evaluation and testing of technologies, frameworks or languages to best meet needs of the organization.

Help drive commonality in the eCommerce platform across IDEX enterprise through purposeful planning.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
-
SAP Commerce Cloud experience preferred.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
-
5+ years professional experience with web development.
-
2+ years’ experience with SAP Hybris / Commerce.
-
Experience working with Azure, Java/J2EE, Angular, Groovy, Web Services (SOAP, REST), HTML, SCSS/CSS, Docker, SCM Tools – Bitbucket /GitHub/Git, Design Patterns, Responsive Design.

Experience meeting with team members, gathering and documenting requirements, and managing small projects.
-
Experience working on full lifecycle of projects from start to finish.

Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
-
Experience with ecommerce and online store fronts a plus (SAP Commerce, Hybris…).

Experience JD Edwards Enterprise One and Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
