JV Mechanical is currently seeking an Refrigeration and Appliance Service Technician to join our team in the Denver, CO area. Are you experienced with commercial business servicing, including restaurants, particularly flat top grills, fryers, and ovens? The right candidate for this position needs to be able do all aspects of refrigeration. The most frequent tasks will be: to diagnose and repair coolers and freezers in restaurants, install walk-in boxes, run line sets, and perform work on cooking equipment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A REFRIGERATION AND APPLIANCE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

As a Refrigeration and Appliance Service Technician, you will effectively troubleshoot and take responsibility for servicing, repairing, and/or proposing the replacement of commercial restaurant appliances. Such appliances include, but are not limited to, stoves, ranges, ovens, fryers, flat top grills, walk-in boxes, refrigerators, and freezers. You will communicate clearly to clients about the proper operation and maintenance of newly installed equipment. You will also communicate any diagnostic findings and proposals for proper repair. At the end of each call, you will complete the required documentation about recommendations, repairs, readings, and observations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent customer service skills
• Relevant current certifications to position
• Commercial repair experience
• Refrigeration and restaurant appliance repair experience, preferred
• Problem solver
• Can work independently, efficiently
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Valid driver's license, and a great driving record
• Ability to pass a background and drug test
