We’re looking for valet shift leaders to manage valet drivers. This person must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, proficiency in English -both verbally and written - and the ability to perform physical activities such as running, lifting, and bending. Strong leadership skills are key in this role to achieve maximum productivity. Valid driver’s license required.

The valet shift leader coordinates the service experience for guests while working alongside coworkers to ensure that the site’s service standards are met and exceeded. Valuable experience will be gained while organizing and administrating necessary tasks to ensure optimal efficiency. As the shift leader of valet drivers, you may be required to handle critical issues and make timely judgment calls. You must possess strong leadership qualities to delegate and manage responsibilities amongst your team. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and cleaning equipment and the valet area to ensure a presentable and safe work

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists guests with luggage including delivery inside the hotel.
• Maintains an accurate log of parked vehicles, as well as a vehicle inspection log.
• Communicates by two-way radio and in-person in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner with all guests, hotel staff, and co-workers.
• Acknowledges and greets guests with a smile.
• Must be able to learn and remember destination points, knowledge of hotel(s), main attractions in the area, and local events.
• Must have knowledge of all property parking lot entrances and exits, streets, and local highways. Provides guests with directions as needed.
• Ability to safely drive in all variations of weather.
• Practices safety procedures always, including wearing a seat belt and obeying all traffic laws.
• Reports needed repairs and unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Performs regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
• Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code. Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor which may include assistance within hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid driver's license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment normally entails the following:

• Exposure to outdoor elements, such as extreme cold or hot temperatures, precipitation, and other conditions.
• Moderate noise levels consistent with the outside environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
