Position Description

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract School Social Workers for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Location: North Chicago, IL
• Duration: Position 1: August 14, 2023 - May 30, 2024; Position 2: August 14, 2023 - December 22, 2024
• Onsite or Virtual: On Site
• Full or Part Time: Full Time
• Schedule: 35-37.5 hours/week; 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Grade/Age Levels: Middle School
• Caseload description: 20-30 students

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a School Social Worker:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as an School Social Worker within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Social Worker credential/license or in process in state of practice
