Responsibilities:
Peraton is seeking a
Systems Architect in our Chantilly, VA office in support of our Intelligence Community customer as part of a highly talented, highly motivated and high-performing team. As part of the systems engineering team, you will be supporting the Enterprise Xcelerator Lab, a research & development laboratory catered to mission integration and user engagement. You will be working with other agencies and industry partners that involves design, development, integration, test, and deployment of exciting and complex systems in an Agile construct to contribute to mission success for a variety of stakeholders. What you'll do:
- Work closely with IC/DoD customer and stakeholders throughout system lifecycle in development, integration & test, deployment, and operations of a highly sophisticated ground system architecture.
- Help build future mission data-centric, highly available, high-performance networked systems in a team-oriented environment on premise and in the cloud.
- Develop systems engineering-related documentation to include operational concept, requirements, specifications, interface control documents, and validation & verification plans.
- Conduct system planning and design for expansion of these resources to meet program needs.
- Support ground system related trade studies as requested.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of a TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related field. However, equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Enterprise Architecture Skill (MBSE, Systems Architecture, Modernization and Transformation)
- Solution Architecting Skill (System of Systems, Service-based, Data-centric, Cloud-based, etc)
- Software Engineering Skill (Technology, Methodology, and Development)
- System Engineering Skill (OSes, Networking, Storage, Security, etc)
- Familiar with latest IT offering (COTS, FOS, GOTS*) *Domain specific
- Maintaining coding skill (C/C++, Java, Python, Shell Scripting, etc.)
- Worked on IC/DoD Programs, Projects, or Missions
- Requirement Management (be able to derive requirement from Customer needs/request)
- Have 10-20 years of IT acumen
- Have 3-5 years Enterprise and Solution Architecting
- Have 3-5 years Program Management
- Lead IT team and/or department in project delivery (from cradle to grave)
Desired Qualification:
- Recognition from the community (IC/DoD)
- Published work
- PMP certification
- Familiarity with FAR
- Customer Engagements Skill
- Business Development / Capture
- Lead teams & good communication
