Position Summary

Trideum is looking for a Software Developer to join the team. This role will be responsible for supporting a Software lead Developer in developing cutting-edge technologies to support a DoD customer. This is a full-time position, located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Transform customer requirements into a technologically advanced, high-performing software architecture within program technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Assess existing code modules and align them with current and future desired requirements.
• Work in a high-performance environment using Agile Software Development processes to support system design, architecture, application development, integration, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and review code, update technical documents, generate unit tests, ensure code meets requirements through unit testing, and resolve discrepancy reports.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software, algorithms, and mathematical solutions to mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• Author or assists in the writing of system specification manuals, technical reports, and user manuals.
• Effectively and clearly communicate project status, design concepts, and performance metrics to project leadership.
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends by experimenting with and learning new technologies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or applicable engineering or science field.
• 3-7 years of experience developing software in C#, Java, and/or Python for actual programs/projects (not academic).
• 3(+) years of experience programming in C and/or C++. Additional modern languages are highly desirable.
• API and Micro Services Experience
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and demonstrated experience in software engineering best practices.
• Experience writing algorithmic code, including complexity analysis, performance optimization, and multithreading.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, including the ability to readily decompose complex problems into smaller, manageable tasks.
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence or similar collaboration software tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously as well as with large and small teams of programmers.
• Experience collaborating with external developers and integrating components into a larger framework.
• Experience working in cloud technologies such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience developing with DevSecOps approaches.
• CompTIA Security + certification or working toward certification.
• Onsite work required and willing to work in a closed lab environment
• US citizenship a current Secret Security Clearance with the ability to get TS with SCI eligibility and polygraph
