Job Description

As an experienced Manager of Software Engineering in our team at CCB Global Customer Platform , we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Job responsibilities
  • Technical responsibility for application architecture and design.
  • Design and deliver high quality features that complies with standards and satisfies architectural tests.
  • Participate in Architecture & Engineering forums, perform design reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Operations and Technology partners around the organization.
  • Proactively look to develop and implement best practices across the entire project team, practicing continuous process improvement.
  • Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
  • Listen, interact and train developers to enhance their skill sets.
  • Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 plus years of applied experience. Project management experience, influencing decision-making outside of immediate span of control, and accomplishing key objectives and results.
  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
  • Experience leading technology projects.
  • Experience managing technologists.
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems.
  • Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Working knowledge in Domain Driven Design and other architectural deliverables.
  • Working knowledge in Java 1.11 and above or C# .NET.
  • Working knowledge in Spring Boot, Microservice Architecture, Kafka event driven architecture and Cloud based infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge in distributed database like Cassandra/Cockroach.
  • Working knowledge in monitoring tools like Dynatrace/Splunk.
  • Working knowledge in CI/CD pipeline, Circuit breaker pattern, Chaos testing.
