The Summer 2023 Software Engineering Intern will:
- Participate with an Agile team of Software Engineers while working with other software teams
- Aid with management of the product release schedule including testing and documentation
- Function within a distributed team model and interact with global team members
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, time and cost studies and proposed solutions
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Prepare and install solutions by following system specifications, standards, and programming best practices
- Contribute to Automated Unit and System testing
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
- Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Interact with peers accepting advice and coaching
- Support Customer Care, Sales, and Operations to ensure that software meets the needs of NDCT customers
- Work closely with development leadership to ensure value is delivered to our customers
- Support teams in creating product vision and roadmap, writing effective user stories, and prioritizing backlog based on business value
- Perform necessary unit, integration, and system level testing
- Provide support and development of software tools to add manufacturing to increase efficiency of production
- Have the ability to learn new skills, tools, and programming languages
- All other reasonable duties as assigned

- Position is full-time in person, no remote work
