NuvOx Pharma: Sr. Book Keeper/Controller

We are a clinical stage pharmaceutical company in Tucson, AZ. Our mission is to develop breakthrough solutions to life threatening diseases. As a small, start-up company, you will be the person in providing book keeping and accounting services. You will report to COO/CFO.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing the accounting and corporate documents, including payroll, book entry, security ledger maintenance, establish systems and financial controls, basic tax filing, etc.

We are Flexible:

We are somewhat flexible about your engagement with us, whether you are an independence book keeper/accountant, or seek employment. You can also work remotely most of the time. We can also accommodate part time. However, we do require regular working hours and reliability.

Skills/Style Required:

· Experiences with QuickBooks, payroll system (Paychex preferred), bill.com.

· Full fledged accounting, including but not limited to A/R, A/P, payroll, JE, financial statements, etc.

· Analytical and attention to details.

· High level of integrity and judgement: You will be responsible for interactions with a diverse group of important external internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Respect to strict confidentiality and independent judgement are crucial in succeeding in this position.

· Can do attitude, and thrive in fast speed, dynamic environment: Things change all the time, are never perfect, and deadlines are plenty. Additional Skills Desired but not a Must:

· System implementation experiences such as cloud based ERP or Carta.

· Basic IT/web knowledge (Wix experience is a plus).

· Basic knowledge about Quality Management Systems, especially in pharma industry.

Pay: $28.41 - $34.22 per hour
