Purpose of Job:
The Senior Software Engineer in Quality Engineering will work within Bind’s Data Engineering Platform to write automated tests (functional, integration, unit, data quality) in Python to ensure our ETL and data pipeline jobs deliver the expected output.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software quality engineering experience
• 5+ years of solid SQL skills
• 2+ years of Python experience
• 2+ years of Agile Development Framework
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS in engineering, mathematics, computer science, software development or other technical field, or relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, Parquet, and/or Delta Lake
• Experience with Extract Transformation Load and data pipelining testing
• Spark SQL, PySpark
• Databricks, AWS Glue, Ascend
• Great Expectations (GX)
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Docker, AWS S3, IntelliJ, PyCharm, Jira
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible in technologies and flexible in team assignments
