Under the general direction of the Accounting Chief, the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) Spec. serves as a highly independent and skilled non-supervisory manager; the SSM I (Specialist) The SSM I (Specialist) reviews accounting and cross-functional processes and procedures for continual improvements, develops learning content and leads training, and implements new technologies to serve end-users best. In addition, the SSM I (Specialist) provides technical support in business automation design and development, coordinates with the Office of Information Services (OIS) in the SharePoint web application migration efforts, and is responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and management of all accounting content on the CARB external website and intranet site.
