Job Description

Assist Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley staff along with other Project achieve service members to provide academic support and mentorship for our youth 5-18 years of age. Help with data collection, recruitment, and community outreach. Professional Development & Networking opportunities Two contract options! 300 hour contract 25 hours a week 5 hours a day Monday- Friday (Schedule flexibility) $3,948 living stipend divided out bi-weekly $1,459.26 education award eligible 100 hour contract 10 hours a week 2 hours a day Monday- Friday (Schedule flexibility) $1,316 living stipend divided out bi-weekly $388.03 education award eligible Multiple Host sites to serve at: Phoenix, Avondale, Apache Junction, Glendale, Gilbert, and more!

Member Duties : - Help provide mentorship using Summer Brain Gain Curriculum to promote social emotional skills through learning and engagement. - Assist BGCAZ Staff & Summer Learning Loss Coordinator in arranging the learning environment including but not limited to; assembling & distributing materials, creating visual aids etc. - Assist with youth questions and completion of sessions; read to youth, proctor learning, assist in writing and math exercises.
