Job Summary

As a CBRE Surveying Project Management Manager, you will lead projects as well supervise a team of project managers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads ALTA/NSPS commercial real estate surveys and drafting TOPO.

  • Performs cell tower surveys and surveying cell tower sites in order to prepare 1A letters, height verification letters or 2C letters, flood zone determination and elevation certificates.

  • Runs title commitments and zoning reports

  • Demonstrates an understanding of sectionalized land.

  • Calculates boundaries and plot easements.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop proficiencies. Models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Supervising / leadership experience preferred

Certificates and/or Licenses

Valid driver's license

Surveyor license preferred

LSIT preferred

Interpersonal Abilities

Excellent written and verbal interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to present information. Ability to respond to issues.

Mathematical Knowledge

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to address problems involving several options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.

Other Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, Civil 3D, Adobe, MJL, Microsoft Outlook, and Carlson software.

Scope of Responsibility

Decisions made with detailed understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and timelines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
