SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking highly motivated Testing and Evaluation Specialists to join our team and leverage their technical expertise to develop and conduct tests of systems to evaluate compliance with the Sponsor’s requirements. As the Testing and Evaluation Specialist, you will apply principles, methods, and tools for cost-effective planning, evaluating, verifying, and validating of technical, functional, and performance of systems.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Determining level of assurance of developed capabilities based on test results
• Determining scope, infrastructure, resources, and data sample size to ensure system requirements are adequately demonstrated
• Validating specifications and requirements for testability
• Performing developmental testing on systems under development
• Performing interoperability testing on systems exchanging electronic information with other systems
• Performing operational testing
• Making recommendations based on test results
• Testing, evaluating, and verifying hardware and/or software to determine compliance with defined specifications and requirements

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the engineering of computer or information systems over their lifecycle (e.g., requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, deployment, installation, and maintenance), programming, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, and/or systems engineering
• Experience and knowledge of systems engineering, test and evaluation tradecraft, and software engineering
• Ability to analyze test data
• Ability to translate data and test results into evaluative conclusions
• Ability to work effectively across several different functional areas in a collaborative environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of automation tools and Linux OS
