Primary Job Duties:

The Manager Pilot Training Coordination provides leadership and support to the Pilot Training Coordinators and Flight Operations Training. Responsible for scheduling process with Instructors, simulator companies, Federal Aviation Administration, Pilots and Flight Operations Leadership.

  • Coordinate with Flight Operations Training Managers and Chief Instructors to determine monthly training requirements at the various training locations
  • Coordinate classroom/PT/SIM training sessions and communicate with Chief Instructors
  • Project training needs in terms of classrooms, PT devices, simulators and instructors quarterly and yearly
  • Participate in situational reviews and interpretation of rules and requirements
  • Review and develop processes as necessary
  • Create reports as necessary in Excel and other programs
  • Coordinate and establish pilot training coordinator schedules
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior Manager
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year minimum Pilot Training experience
  • Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
  • Proficient use of Crew Scheduling software and all partner and hotel reservation system
  • Ability to learn all pilot training software
  • Flexibility in schedule to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, team player
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints and adapt to change quickly and positively
Physical and Other Requirements:
  • This position requires being based in either Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT
  • Salary will be $50-55,000 based on experience
  • Extended sitting, and periodic standing, lifting and bending
