TYPE: - Travel Nurse Practitioner - will onboard with client as a W2 employee. LOCATION: - PRN Travel assignments within the State of Maine - We are accepting NP's from all across the State of Maine, not restricted to Portland SCHEDULE: - 40 hours Per Week - 4 to 12 week commitment (cannot be in their home location) - 5/6 assessments per day, M-F. Or could do Tu-Sat (5 days/week) SALARY: - $125 per completed assessment - Daily Per Diem and Travel Reimbursement - Hotel, Flight, and Rental Car (Rental Car ONLY provided when they are being flown to a location) - $50/day per diem (paid for their work days) - Mileage reimbursement BENEFITS: - PRN providers are non-benefited except for limited Voluntary Benefits CREDENTIALS: - Active Nurse Practitioner License in state of Maine - Board Certification by AANP, ANCC or AACCN - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner MUST HAVE: - Must be capable of traveling to & from each patients home - Valid state driver license and proof of coverage - Must be Covid Vaccinated POSITION SUMMARY: - The Nurse Practitioner (NP) brings expert care to members, through clinical assessments, screenings, and education. This role may provide care in a variety of settings including member/participant homes, assisted living facilities, Telehealth visits, and skilled nursing facilities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Perform screenings including medical history, physical exam, medication reconciliation and education. - Effectively identify, evaluate, and address the concerns of the member, employee or participant. - Administer and order point of care and lab based testing. - Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory results and provide clinically appropriate interventions, additional tests, or referral as needed. - Refer members to PCP, case management, disease management programs, and/or appropriate specialist as necessary. - Maintains positive control of all PHI information and compliance with OSHA and State Board of Nursing. OTHER: - Equipment provided by Matrix - EDU modules same as PRN (option of completing modules on own or CCI attendance) - Malpractice Coverage - Must be Acute Care, Adult, Ad-Geri, Family or Geri. No Peds.
