Job Summary:

Crisp Container is seeking a skilled and motivated Utility Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Utility Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by operating machinery, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to upholding our quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor production processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery, including basic troubleshooting and minor repairs.
  • Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials and supplies.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and promptly report any deviations or issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing waste and debris.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve operational challenges.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate machinery effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when required.
