Description:
Performs all duties related to shipping, receiving and inventory operations. Sorts, stores, takes inventory, keeps records, and organizes the receiving and shipping of materials and finished goods. Reports to the Warehouse Lead. Operates forklifts and pallet jacks. Assures that inventory areas are organized and maintained. Interacts with vendors to confirm load and delivery times. Interacts with customer’s transportation and logistics personnel. Displays professional, safe conduct in all interactions. Maintains positive working relationships with fellow employees, vendors, and customers. Additional duties may include operational support, as directed by management. We are looking for someone that wants to grow along with a company positioned to double in size. Starting salary depends on experience and/or aptitude. Requirements:
Ensure that sheets and plates are safely unloaded, and other parts and materials are safely conveyed to or from storage areas or work locations by appropriate methods (hand, forklift, etc.). Safely loads and receives materials. Accurately counts and monitors inventory to ensure proper credit and delivery. Loads and receives material. Verifies material specifications with sales order and drawing(s). Ensures all finished goods are properly shrink-wrapped for safe transport and storage prior to loadout. Coordinates shipping and receiving with Sales Clerk and Production Manager. Keeps work area clean and tidy. Keeps manufacturing paperwork in order. Assists with shop clean up. May provide various support as directed by management. Works well in a team environment. Complies with Employee Handbook. Attention to detail and good time management skills. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Lead.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/Work Habits:
Ability to safely operate standard hand/shop tools and forklift and pallet jacks.

Ability to stand or walk for 3-4 hours at a time.

Ability to lift/load various materials, up to 50 lbs.

Ability to count and solve basic problems with math.

Ability to verbally communicate English in an effective manner.

Ability to be involved in frequently changing tasks without loss of efficiency or composure.
