Job Description

The Warehouse Inventory Associate is a key part in maintaining optimum levels of inventory and required materials needed to meet customer delivery requirements. Located at the Batteries Plus National Distribution Center in Glendale, WI, the Warehouse Inventory Associate will participate in daily inventory, retrieving products, and be cross-trained to support other departments as needed, including coaching and training.

Open Position on the following shifts:

2nd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 2pm-10pm OR Mon/Tues 1p-10p, Wed/Thurs 2p-10p & Fri 2p-8p - Additional $.75/hour

3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am - Additional $1.25/hour shift premium

Responsibilities:

  • Completes daily physical inventories, cycle counts and receipt audits of warehouse products
  • Researches and reports inventory discrepancies, investigating overages/shortages and follows up on resolutions
  • Retrieves products from warehouse locations to assemble finished goods such as repack, damage, inventory adjustments and relabeling
  • Assists in collecting, building and documenting inventory to Returns to Vendor (RTV)
  • Documents and reports damaged and outdated product for resolution
  • Operates forklift and other powered equipment as needed
  • Sets up pick locations for product

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of warehouse distribution experience
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete paperwork
  • Ability to recognize, read and match alpha-numeric location codes, box markings and product covers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred, but can be trained onsite
  • Experience with general inventory processes preferred
