Summary

Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Warehouse Team Member will work onsite at JFK Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include assisting ramp operations as required, with wing walking, push back, loading, and off-loading accordingly to the load plan.
• Perform warehouse functions such as cargo package handling; including moving, stacking, weighing, labeling, etc; constructing and dismantling as necessary;
• Duties related to loading and unloading of trucks, operate/checking company vehicles, and mechanized loading equipment.
• Driving company automotive equipment for transporting of cargo packages.

Qualifications

• Some positions require a Valid State Driver’s license (Standard or Enhanced)
• Able to work in Indoor/Outdoor environments in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. without assistance and up to 70 lbs. with assistance warehouse, shipping, receiving experience is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
