Job Responsibilities
- Safely, responsibly, and professionally operates the commercial motor vehicle (junk truck) and monitors their functionality
- Completes all haul-a-way / Junk removal related paperwork and responsible for making sure paperwork and revenues collected are properly dropped in safe at the end of the work day
- Organizing and securing truck at the end of each job and ensures truck and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe and professional manner
- Conduct pre/post trip truck inspections and “haul-a-way / junk removal equipment inventory
- Safely remove any unwanted items from the customers home or business by utilizing all of the proper hauling equipment and techniques and following the necessary prescribed policies
- Must be in a clean, approved TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® uniform at all times without exception
- Maintain a positive image of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® by ensuring proper hygiene
Job Requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service as you safely complete the removal of junk or unwanted items
- Greet customer upon arriving at the specified location and complete a walk-through of the premises
- Communicate professionally in English; comfortably interact with customers
- Safely move the unwanted items by utilizing proper moving equipment and techniques
- Accurately complete junk removal paperwork with the customer; ensure correct payments are calculated and collected at the end of each move
- Educate customers about pricing and services. Be able to price jobs correctly and confidently to meet or exceed goals
- Strong problem-solving skills and solution oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift and carry up to 150 lbs.
- Safely operate the trucks, container drops and pick ups
- Communicate with management and make best route decisions provided by daily schedule
- Be able to lift heavy items and remove them from residential or commercial properties
- Distribute marketing materials as needed determined by driver and management
