Bob Carter

Bob Carter is one of the world’s most respected, experienced and recognized experts in the areas of institutional strategy and philanthropy

Bob established Bob Carter Companies in 2011, now doing business as Carter and currently serves as the chair. Prior to forming these companies, Bob was senior advisor for Changing Our World and Omnicom Nonprofit Group. Before this, Bob spent 26 years with Ketchum, one of the world’s largest fundraising consulting companies, serving 15 years as president and CEO. Bob is currently serving as a board member on the World Health Organization Foundation (WHOF).

Bob is past chair of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) International Board of Directors, the National Aquarium, the Boys’ Latin School and was a trustee of The Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and others. Bob is currently serving as a member of the World Health Organization board.

Bob is a graduate of the Boys’ Latin School and Johns Hopkins University. He and his wife, Carol, live in Anna Maria, Florida.
