Experience / Education: 6 months experience OR Medical Assistant Course Completion Certificate OR Hawaii State Medical Assistant Certificate/License

Type: Full-time

Schedule: Day Shift

Pay: Up to $20/hour to start, based on experience

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking Medical Assistants to join our growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

As a Medical Assistant, expectations are:

• Reviews patient records prior to the visit
• Reminds patient of appointments as necessary
• Identifies if all previous orders were completed
• Ensures that all necessary reports are in place
• Reviews gaps in care as necessary
• Performs check-in duties appropriately and timely
• Records vital signs and other measurements accurately
• Operates basic medical equipment

Position Requirements:

• TB Clearance within the past 12 months
• Valid Driver License
• Access to an insured vehicle
• BLS CPR
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination as required by federal mandate or approved request for reasonable accommodation for medical or religious exemption.
