Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to make mathematical calculations accurately to ensure accurate assessments of the load distribution and center of gravity • Ability to understand all laws and regulations applicable to cargo handling • Outstanding communication and analytical skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Responsibilities • Ensures cargo is properly screened • They ensure the cargo on the aircraft is stored in such a way that the aircraft is balanced, and the weight is distributed within safe operating limits Ensures ULD/Pallets are built and loaded according to the industry and WGA standards • Ensures hazardous materials are properly marked and loaded per any restriction • Prepares or ensure that the required weight and balance information is transmitted to the crew • When present, supervises station operations to include: • Safety during adverse weather • Ground equipment is in good repair and handled safely • Suspension of operation • Shall positively support and promote safety, security, and quality as a fundamental function of the overall responsibility
